About
What is Kappa Delta?
Kappa Delta is more than a century-old sisterhood of over 271,000 initiated members, 168 active collegiate chapters, and 224 active alumnae chapters. Kappa Delta is active in philanthropic efforts through its partnership with Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA) and the Theta Alpha chapters local affiliate The Children's Center of Hamden. Kappa Delta continues to build confidence in young girls through its partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA through self-esteem workshops and leadership seminars. In 2009, the sorority created the Confidence Coalition to promote confidence in women and girls. In 2010, Kappa Delta established International Girls Day to empower girls to reach their potential. It also created International Women's Friendship month to celebrate and empower the bods of women everywhere. Kappa Delta is the confidence to be your best and realize your dreams with the support of a national sisterhood that is there for you every step of the way.
